To all Open Office users :

There now is a thread on the OOo Issue tracker on MacSpeech Dicate. Everyone can vote in order to show that he wants the problem to be solved. If no one votes, there will be no change and Open Office will not be supported.

    Here is the thread :

  2. This is the Knowledge Base article that discusses non-native Mac applications:

Support for the Mac OS X Accessibility API is the best route.

Apparently OOo supports this API :

I however do not know if something still needs to be implemented or not. Could you therefore please let me know what I have to do to make OOo work with Macspeech Dictate ?

This is just to let you know that the OOo development team is aware of the problem which seems seems to affect every Nuance dictation software and has posted a comment here :

    http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=71542 .

Does Nuance consider improving OOo support in the near future ?
